Optimizing safe and quality care in environmental injuries and wound management

Korean Society of Environmental Injuries and Wound Management (KSEWM) was founded in Seoul, Korea in 2007. The organization was founded by a group of emergency physicians to define and disseminate the body of knowledge unique to environmental injuries and wound care. The group is dedicated to advancing the quality of environmental injuries and wound care through teaching and research in this field. Members are encouraged to become active by participating in committees, attending regular meetings and acting as facilitators for various training courses.

Our mission is to optimize safe and quality care by research and education in environmental injuries and wound care. Our activities include the following:

1) Sharing of experiences and knowledge through regular meetings and conferences.
2) Standardization and improvement in educational tools.
3) Improving the academia of environmental injuries and wound care through research.
4) To establish environmental injuries and wound care as an area of special interest.
5) Promoting special interest group gatherings.
6) Networking with regional and international group interested in environmental injuries and wound care.

KSEWM welcomes ties with other organizations interested in environmental injuries and wound care.
